General Information

Please note that tax laws have changed. Before making a donation, be sure to take photos and consult your tax advisor about the need for appraisals.

Please do not donate damaged, torn, dirty/stained or broken items. If we have to throw it away, it is an expense to us.

Vintage clothing is an exception. We accept vintage clothing in any condition!

2010 Drop-Off Dates

There are no public drop-off dates during the summer. Drop-off donations will be accepted from 10am to 1pm at the Derby Street door only on the following Saturdays:

  • September 25, Saturday
  • October 23, Saturday
  • November 20, Saturday
  • December 18, Saturday
     

Van Pickup Information

We encourage you to use the WES van for your donations. Please call (510) 839-5919 and leave a message.

The dispatcher will have current information about the items we can accept and will arrange for the pickup of your donation.

Remember to call well in advance.
