Parking & Transportation
On sale days parking is very limited.

On Sale days, especially weekends, parking is very limited in the warehouse area.

​ Do not count on parking in the neighborhood. Please observe all “no parking” notices and do not park in or block driveways. If you block a resident’s driveway, your car will be towed.

A limited number of parking spaces are available at the warehouse to those individuals displaying disabled person placards or plates. These are first-come, first-served. Entrances to the warehouse at Derby Avenue and at Lancaster Street have ramp access.

We encourage you to use our shuttles, carpool, take public transit, or use ride-share. Street parking is available across the Fruitvale Bridge in Alameda. It is a short walk back to the White Elephant Sale warehouse on Lancaster Street.

Free Shuttle: A free shuttle will run every weekend day and Presidents Day. The shuttle will circle between the Fruitvale BART station pickup on Oscar Grant III Way and the warehouse starting at 8:00 AM. The last shuttle will leave the warehouse at 3:45 PM from the pickup location at the corner of Ford and Lancaster, one block from the warehouse.

Free parking at the Fruitvale BART station garage is available on Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays. Shoppers can take BART or park for free at the BART station, then take the free shuttle to the warehouse. BART does not permit non-users to park in its lot during the week.
Driving from the North:

Drive south on I-880

Take the Fruitvale Avenue exit

Make an immediate right onto Derby Avenue

Follow Derby Avenue to the Oakland Estuary

The warehouse is on your left as you approach the Oakland Estuary
Driving from the South:

Drive north on I-880

Take exit 38 toward High Street

Continue 0.2 mile onto Coliseum Way

Turn left onto High Street

In 250 feet make a slight right turn onto Alameda Avenue

In 0.5 mile turn right onto Fruitvale Avenue

In 0.2 mile turn left onto E. 7th Street

In 300 feet turn left onto Lancaster Street

The warehouse is on the corner of Glascock Street and Lancaster Street
